Photography

Photography is a relatively new craft for me and although I’ve only been “doing it” for just over a year, I’ve always appreciated the difference a truly great photo can make, not only in design, but for capturing a moment in time. With imagery, you can design all you want but truly great photography will make the design elements stand out that much more.

The other reason I’m becoming passionate about photography is that in the past 10 years, with the advancement of digital photography and the 2.0 generation, it seems everyone has become a ‘photographer’ and the skill of photography has become diluted – I want to add my bit to keeping this valuable skill alive.

My current photography lineup includes a Canon 40D with EF-S 17 - 55 mm F2.8 IS lens, a Canon IXUS 110 IS and for the truly spontaneous but rare shot – Apple iPhone 16GB.
