Description
As a part of launching their Support Crew program, RCA wanted to invigorate the community into getting behind the program and launched a campaign called ‘Buy on the Bay’. The premise was simple, support local communities and win a car. The flow on effect from this was the promotion of the Support Crew and RCA brand.
The public could win a car simply by shopping at supporting business, business that supported the program. Receive and entry form with every purchase, and you’re in the draw.
The creative needed to convey excitement and a fresh image, something that reflect the seaside atmosphere of the community – but without being too cheesy. The literal concept of being ‘on the bay’ worked well with the depicted car on the seafloor – a treasure in-waiting. Various other elements such as the glittering type and driftwood instructions helped strengthen the theme.
The Shine Ball was the culmination of the Buy on the Bay campaign – a Moulin Rouge inspired event to celebrate the it’s success.
